Saturday 29th – Sunday 30th August
We got away early & retraced our steps along the dirt road to Georgetown & then continued our eastward journey to Mount Surprise where we refuelled & took on provisions (vegemite) before doing another 40kms to Undara where we booked into a powered site for two nights & booked a tour of the caves.
In the morning we toured the lava tubes which we found fascinating & were really lucky to have a knowledgeable guide. This afternoon we are having a swim & tonight we are dining at the Fettlers Iron Pot Bistro.
