Enjoying some great weather!

Hi, we left the Isa and travelled east to Cloncurry then down toward Winton. We free camped at Dinosaur Creek with another couple of vans and experienced a fabulous sunset.

Dinosaur Creek was a superb free camp.

We travelled on to Winton and visited The Waltzing Matilda Centre which we found very interesting and then it was onto Longreach for a couple of nights.

We left Longreach and travelled to Muttaburra where we spent a couple of nights at a fabulous free camp some ten kilometres out of town. Muttaburra is the location where the first dinosaur fossilised skeleton in Australia was discovered.

After Muttaburra we travelled north through to Charters Towers, Townsville, Cairns and onto Wonga Beach near Daintree. We shall be here for a few days.

  1. Judging by the Covid walls being erected in the eastern states you will never see Tassie again unless you find an escape route vis WA/SA.
