Cecil Plains Free Camp
Cecil Plains via Dalby We travelled further south to Dalby & then onto Cecil Plains for a free camp next to the Condamine River. There was a small flow over the weir & some fellow campers were trying their luck. Some nice Yellowbelly was caught (8) & a carp. We didn’t bother to fish.
Kingaroy Free Camp After a great camp at Kinbombi Falls we travelled through Goomeri & Wandai to Kingaroy & made camp at a rest area by the Stuart River south of Kingaroy.

Noosa After Woodgate Beach we travelled further south to Noosa for three nights. We based ourselves at Tewantin & visited Maroochydore & Noosa Heads as well as the Eumundi Market. Chilled out at Woodgate Beach
Woodgate Beach We enjoyed a pleasant six days at Woodgate Beach which is south of Bundaberg & approximately 40 km from Childers. It has a magnificent beach & is adjacent to a national park. We tried a bit of beach fishing…. but you know our luck!
