Another Team Henry triumph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

September 14^th – 17^th

We got into our caravan park late afternoon & set up before going to the Sunday night Trivia Quiz night the caravan park runs every Sunday. I am happy to advise that “TEAM HENRY” ….Yes that is right……………won the quiz…………..convincingly!!!!!!!!!

Next day we checked out the town which has grown enormously & changed significantly since I last visited it. Hervey Bay’s population is now 60,000.

Yesterday, we did a day tour of Fraser Island which is the largest sand island in the world. We saw some popular tourist attractions like the Maheno wreck & the “Pinnacles” & got to see a dingo on the beach. Fraser Island has the purest strain of dingoes in Australia.

Today we are driving down to Brisbane as we are getting Mod Con the manufacturers of EKO to do some minor warranty repairs late this afternoon then we shall head down the NSW coast. Unfortunately because of other commitments & the ship sailing deadline we will not be able to catch up with our Brisbane friends.
