We are now camped at Roma  & tomorrow we head for Injune. After we left St George we made our way through Hebel, Dirranbandi to St George – no sign of any dragons! We checked out a few sights around  the town & visited a winery. The winery very kindly allowed us to free camp on their property. We were in free camp oven…….Chezza was camped next to a winery & Stephen was camped next to the river!

We left the next day & travelled through Surat to Roma. Roma is known for its bottle trees & its oil & gas history. We attended a light show about the oil & gas industry & enjoyed a great free camp about 10 km out of town next to the creek.

TOMORROW WE HEAD UP THE CANARVON HIGHWAY TO INJUNE & THEN CANARVON NATIONAL PARK. WE ARE GOING TO BE REMOTE & WITHOUT TELEPHONE SERVICE TILL NEXT FRIDAY SO BEAR WITH US & WE SHALL UPDATE WHEN WE GET TO EMERALD.
