We had a great day ……………..at Streaky Bay!

Another update

What a glorious day we have had at Streaky Bay. Streaky Bay has some diverse landscapes, endless beaches, fantastic fishing (we are told), spectacular coastline and wonderful seafood. It really is a good base to explore the area as the town is the business hub and service hub of the district.

Today we ventured south east to Murphy’s Haystacks which are granite rocks known as Inselbergs then it was on to Sceale Bay & it’s magnificent beach.

 Next, we headed back toward Point Westall and took the Westall Way Loop Track & took in Smooth Pool, High Cliff and Tractor Beach before heading onto the Cape Bauer Loop Drive.

 The coastal scenery was amazing and the gravel road was good and we were easily able to negotiate the sandy access tracks to the sights. We explored Hally’s Beach, Whistling Rocks and Blowhole and Cape Bauer before driving back into Streaky Bay mid-afternoon.
