Eighty Mile Beach then to Broome.

 

Hi everyone,

We left Marble Bar & travelled west 150 kilometres to the Great Northern Highway where we then turned north for around 50 kilometres to our free camp at De Grey River. The next day we called into Pardoo Roadhouse before another 100 kilometres saw us arrive at Eighty Mile Caravan Park on the coast where we are going to be for 5 nights. The park had a special beef pie night so we opted in & enjoyed a nice dinner & Cheryl even let me have Apple Pie & Icecream!!!!!!We had an enjoyable stay at this huge caravan park but the beach fishing was disappointing due to the wind & unfavourable tide times.

We also enjoyed driving on the beach & collecting shells.

 After Eighty Mile we got to our next destination two days earlier than I thought we would BECAUSE OF MY NAVIGATION & DRIVING (lol) where we shall be for 6 nights & where we are catching up with my brother & other friends.

  1. Correct Stephen I have worked 57 years to get the favourite tag and although I does not sit comfortably with me I just need to accept that I am indeed the favourite!!!!😀😀

  2. Well Nos 1,4 and 5 it never ceases to amaze me if you don’t mind me saying so ( where did that from!!!) That the three of you can gloat on your own self importance, and to add, disappeared in Mums hour of need. Please come down a level or two, and recognise the sheer brilliance and humanity that number 3 shows towards our parents not only has he introduced a balanced diet for Dad (Thai, Chinese, Indian and good old fish n chips and the good old English roast too, he has taken on the role of logistics and infrastructure organiser, for mums release from hospital . No 3 For me You are Best On Ground and you are truly a legend.
