The Amazing Spanner Man

The day after arriving at Boort was terrible weather and we spent most of our time in our caravan. Today was the exact opposite and a welcome change – great blue skies. First up we visited The Spanner Man after several recommendations from friends and other grey nomads. We were not disappointed and recommend it to all. Just google Boort or Spanner Man for more information. It is truly amazing what he has constructed with spanners. 

We left Boort and travelled to Wycheproof and onto Sea Lake. We are now well and truly in the Mallee region, which is very flat, sandy and the predominant crops are wheat and barley. Whilst in Sea Lake we took in some silo art and then it was back on the Calder Highway to Ouyen and then to Underbool.
