Since last posting we have continued northward through the towns of Cunnamulla, Charlaville and onto Augathella. We are staying in Augathella for two nights.
Cunnamulla and Charlaville are major outback service centres in Queensland that are located on major highway routes. Cattle and sheep farming are the major industries.
Augathella is likewise predominantly a rural service area. One of it’s main claims to fame is a species of meat eating ant.
Tomorrow we are headed further north toward Tambo.

Unfortunately, the weather has not been kind. Less rain but very cold.
Don’t forget your Tambo Teddies opposite that magic fire station.
